[blegh. disappointed...]

feeeling:disappointed.

Well, for those from YCS, have you ever wondered what it's like to be amidst a team of not-so-dedicated-or-helpful teachers? whoo.. okay. i'm experiencing it for the second time.... heck i'm beginning to hate this....

The first tutorial for the day. Math.. whoo.. I thought that it was gonna be fun, or at least, okay.. After all, Mr Owyong got my respect the day before during the lecture. Hmm... I think i might have misplaced it..

He started explaining his basic expectations for the class, selected the math rep, and started checking our homework. hmm.. I totally din know what to expect, and was more interested in jus trying out the questions, and heck, din really put very much effort to making it neat. After all, since (i thought) dun need to hand up, it duzn matter so long as I understand. He came around, and I explained to him my situation, and before I could even finish, he reprimanded me for my untidyness, blah blah blah. Flipped thro my foolscap pad, and started browsing thro my notes (okay that one has to be really messy. Each and every single stroke i make in my personal notes mean something to me, and me only.) and went like, "you have to be more organised than this..bla blabla....."

fine... i jus gave him some respect, nodded my head, and nobody would know how much fire i jus wanted to breathe out on him from my stomach. damn. he topped the whole thing off by telling me i was like, the slowest in the class. HECK! you haven't tested my true mettle in math, and you base this assumption on the fact that i din do up a tidy piece of work for you?! besides, i never intended to hand that up, otherwise it would be many times neater!!

HECKKK!! I HATE teachers who don't give ear to their students, brush them aside (like this)and reprimand them for faults they do not really have, or are trying their level best to get rid of. MANN! He lost my respect in that instant.

For econs, our teacher was actually our civics tutor (YAY!! ) and not that naggy ms chin. You must understand, the two people concerned here are both ms chin(s). But what a whole world of diff. I heard SQ say that his Ms Chin was like, scolding every one for every single move they made. one false move you make, like if you stretch or something like that, ha! she will start scolding ler. I hate this teacher cuz she's our lecturer.

Any time anyone was late for lectures, she will scold lke siao. Then when they try to occupy the back rows (having in mind the fact that it will cause less disruption) she starts scolding. En Hua was smart. he went all the way to the front, and then she had just finished scolding the ppl at the back. Then she turned and saw him, late. We were like, oh.. gonna kena liao.. He looked at her, she looked at him, that was a tense moment, then he slowly sat down. Then Isaac and I were like,, hahahaha!!! that was so funny.. lol(she couldn't scold him cuz he went to the front.. lol.. )

Physics teachers were not all too bad, just that physics covered on dry topics (HECK! i thought we left all this menial zero-error stuff back at secondary school?!)but good thing is that they will cover on trajectory (stuff which i've pondered since childhood).. good good good...

GP, not yet. We were only being taught how to slay the GP monster. Haha.. Newsweek and Times actually came to our sch, set up booths adjacent each other, then started publicising and telling us how students benefited in GP from the expository essays written there(oh yeah.. like the straits times' editorials were written by meagre cubs).. Nonetheless, En Hua went to screw them up. he went to newsweek, took all the benefits, then went to times and asked "can you offer better?" LOL!!

So Times was like, "oh you see, newsweek is actually a very shabby magazine.... blah blah blah" Then he took that statement and went back to newsweek, which cut its price in half and promised him 4 free gifts. hahaa!! with that, he went back to times and asked them, "can you do better?" Well, Times could not slash price, so it said "our magazine is quality stuff. we cannot slash our prices." lol!!! I wish i coulda done that too.. haha.!

PE was fun. Last week was "1...,2...,3...,4... oosh sha sha!" (running in step.. lol) with all the push ups (Mr Handsome Ng so good. only 1 push up and 1 sit up.. haha!!) this week, Mr Ang took us, and he was quite a nice guy. He wasn't so cheerful like Mr Ng, but he was quite nice nonetheless. (I heard that psyco tay was tons worse...) Anyway, he got us to do push-ups, stretches, and scissors jumps (WHOA! that was hell of a difficult exercise!!) before we ran a few rounds of the field, then the whole process went on again..

The day before, we checked the shooting noticeboard for the results. Then we din see that the list we were looking at was actually the list of ppl who havent taken their first trial and were asked to take it today. We were so disappointed until suddenly Isaac pointed out another foolscap bit that was pinned right next to the list.. harxx.. we realised.... so we were not chosen yet, neither were we eliminated. STILL GOT CHANCE!! HAA!!

Hm.. not much more to blog about. Perhaps if i remember anything, i'll post it in tomorrow's post. Oh yeah.. Forgot to thank the OGLs for the lil' book they gave us.. hee.. and a short testimonial too :) thank you!
